Given the current context, where the generation of large volumes of data and its processing with requirements by any organization, adequately mastering the analysis of quantitative data is a necessity. In that sense, R is one of the most used languages in data analysis, data science and artificial intelligence, among others. Therefore, knowing and mastering it is key to achieving competitive strategies based on data analysis. To do this, the course will provide the basics of programming in said language with a practical approach from the beginning.
OBJECTIVEThe main objective of the course is for the student to know and be able to write syntax in the R language, this implies manipulating data in the appropriate structures, presenting information visually and programming basic functions.
REQUIREMENTS General: • Minimum knowledge of descriptive statistics and probabilities.
Technical:
• Internet access.
• Computer with a minimum of 4GB of RAM.
• Have a web browser installed (Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge , Safari, etc.).
TARGET GROUP
The course is aimed at people who want to get involved in programming in the R language, they may have little or no programming knowledge, but have the need to manage databases and present/view the results.
COURSE STRUCTURE
Module 1: Introduction to R and data types.
Module 2: Access to portions or subsets of data and control structures.
Module 3: Writing functions, import and export of databases, statistical models.
Module 4: Data Visualization.
COURSE CHARACTERISTICS
COST: Bs 250 for inscriptions until July 15. Bs 300 for registrations until July 19.
SCHEDULES: Monday , Wednesday and Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., via Zoom.
DURATION: Begins on July 19 and ends on August 9. In total there are 9 sessions of 1 hour and a half.
QUOTA: 25 participants.
A certificate of participation will be awarded upon completion.
